Volga River bridge in Dubna (2018)

Ongoing construction of 1,940 m bridgework, including a 485 m bridge with a capacity of 4,420 cars per hour and design speed of 80 kmh.

The river Volga divides Dubna into two halves, which were linked by a single road running along the dam of the Ivankovo Hydroelectric Power Plant. The Kimry Bridge, the nearest bypass, is almost 50 km away.

The bridge across the Volga in Dubna creates a sustainable transport link between the two parts of the city divided by the river, and contributes to the development of the Dubna Exclusive Economic Zone.
