The Mayor of Novosibirsk Vladimir Gorodetsky made this announcement during an inspection of the bridge construction site. This year 1.63 billion roubles were earmarked for the bridge construction project. In 2011, city and regional budgets plan to contribute 750 million roubles each, and approximately two billion roubles will be earmarked from the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation as a target subsidy.
Construction currently concentrates on the right bank of the Ob; the job involves 23 bridge supports. In October the first superstructure section will be built.
