Within the exhibition of investment projects, which is taking place within the forum in Sochi, Yamal presented projects of building of the plant "Yamal LNG" and development of the Northern Latitudinal Route. Special attention was paid to building of the railroad line Bovanenkovo-Sabetta. The regional innovative and investment fund "Yamal" is a customer of the arctic route with the length 180 kilometers. By the preliminary plans, the beginning of building is scheduled for 2015. The new railroad line will give the approach to the Northern Sea Route for cargo transporters of the Northern Latitudinal Route. According to the preliminary data, maximal speed of traffic of cargo and passenger trains on the future road Bovanenkovo – Sabetta will make 50 kilometers per hour. According to the plan of prospecting development, carrying capacity of the line can achieve for 35 million tons, as it is informed to IA "Sever-Press" in the press-service of the governor of Yamal.
As we should remind, the railroad line Obskaya – Bovanenkovo with the length 525 kilometers was built on the Yamal peninsula. The project "The Northern Latitudinal Route", which will connect the region with the Northern and Sverdlovsk Railways, is in active stage of building. The preliminary calculations speak about so that more than 50 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons from Yamal, grains from Siberia, metals from Ural, coal from Kuzbass, petroleum products from Tatarstan and Bashkortostan will be received for transshipment in the specialized sea port of Sabetta on the Northern Latitudinal Route every year.Источник: http://sever-press.ru
