The reconstruction project included:
- A system of taxiways between Paved Runway 1 and Paved Runway 2;
- New aprons (freight, passenger, business aviation, Sochi Terminal 2 – for senior government officials);
- Aircraft de-icing area;
- Water drainage facilities for Paved Runway 2 and new aprons;
- Patrol road;
- Water supply, power supply and communications networks;
- Bank reinforcement structures along Mzymta River.
