Mostotrest built a segment of a new four-lane Category 1A highway with a 6 m dividing strip and a design speed of up to 150 kmh.
The contracted 209 km segment included construction of 44 bridges with a total length of more than 4 km, 63 flyovers with a total length of about 4 km, including 22 above-highway flyovers and 9 flyovers as part of traffic interchanges, 6 complex traffic interchanges (including exits, turns and circular interchanges) at the intersections with the roads of Kuzhenkino-Bologoye, Dolgiye Borody - Uglovka, Kresttsy-Okulovka-Borovichi, Novoselitsy-Paporotno and the M-10 «Rossiya» Highway at km 329 and km 545, as well as construction of toll stations.
The project was implemented under a long-term investment agreement with a tenor of 26 years. Following completion of the construction stage, Mostotrest undertook to maintain the road segment and its toll collection and automated traffic control systems for 22 years.
